Dear Readers,

Greetings!!

Wadia Journal of Women and Child Health (WJWCH) strives to bring forth various articles which would encompass a mix of original articles, narrative reviews, review articles, case reports, and clinical images covering varied topics from multiple specialties to enhance the content and be a go to journal for the readership.

This issue of WJWCH provides insightful articles on maternal and child public health issues and nutrition. We would like to particularly mention the review article by Mathur et al.,[1] which provides a comprehensive overview of pediatric nutrition from the public health perspective. Novel technique of burns dressing by Kulkarni et al.,[2] brings forth an interesting study on the use of a bed pad as a novel and ideal method of burns dressing. The article by Simran et al.,[3] alerts to look for life-threatening complications such as necrotizing enterocolitis on octreotide infusion. Liver tumors in children have a varied presentation and outcome, as also shown in the original article by Banerjee et al.[4]

We propose to start subscriptions for the journal by various institutes. The online submission platform is helping authors to streamline the processes making it possible to make the peer review process streamlined with timelines and reminders so that the article processing time can be reduced. We shall be bringing out the theme-based issue next on clinical genetics with Dr. Smita Mahale as the Guest Editor.

We would like to thank all our authors, readers, reviewers, editorial board members present and past for their continuous support throughout the journey.

We look forward to your comments and suggestions and welcome contributions to the forthcoming issues of our journal.

Happy reading!
